Alibris's aging backup software could no longer keep up with the company's growing infrastructure. Backups often failed and were difficult to monitor and manage. Alibris also wanted a cost-effective, flexible storage platform for its email and backup data. Dell worked with partner Symantec to provide Alibris with a comprehensive backup and recovery solution running on Dell PowerEdge servers and Dell PowerVault iSCSI storage arrays.
