Accurate and Efficient Mode Acceleration Data Recovery for Superelement Models

Procedures are described for accurate and efficient mode acceleration data recovery of transient responses for superelement models. The procedures are more accurate than MSC/NASTRAN's standard mode acceleration data recovery method for large super-element models. The procedures are very efficient for large models with few load vectors and large numbers of transient integration steps. Special provisions are provided for solving the steady state portion of the response for structures with rigid body modes. The procedures are demonstrated using an example problem.
