Active Measurements for CTIA Compliant Mobile Phones

Many mobile network operators are "Overloaded" with handsets to be launched for use in their network. Not all of them have passed GCF-CC (Global Certification Forum Certification Criteria) requirements. Even if handsets have met these requirements, this still does not guarantee that the operator will utilize them due to unacceptable sensitivity performance. A Mobile network operator requires handsets that can maintain a link in "Low coverage areas", where there are fewer base station sites. If an increased number of handsets were available in the market exhibiting better sensitivity performance, this would require fewer base station antenna sites.
