Alpha Bank Cyprus, founded in 1960, as an asset finance institution by the British company Lombard North Central. In 1998 the Bank becomes a member of the Alpha Bank Group, one of the largest financial groups in Greece, and operates under the name of Alpha Bank Ltd. Alpha Bank, chose to implement the VeriSign Unified Authentication platform in order to provide and manage two-factor authentication credentials for its customers.
