Adaptive Resource Allocation for Multi-Resolution Multicast Services With Diversity in OFDM Systems
The multi-resolution multicast service is an emerging service for future generation communication systems, supporting different service qualities for receivers with different capabilities. Under such a scenario, the radio resource arrangement becomes very complex but is important in order to enhance the overall system throughput. For multi-resolution multicast OFDM systems, the authors proposed an adaptive scheme for radio resource allocation combined with the diversity mechanism. Moreover, considering the feasibility for real-time applications, the proposed scheme is simplified into a two-stage algorithm.
