Alvarion's Video Surveillance Solution Enables Real Time Traffic Control and Monitoring in Spanish Town

A municipality in Catalonia, Vic is located in the province of Barcelona on the bank of the Meder River in the vicinity of the Sau swamp. It is the capital of the Osana region and boasts a population of approximately 39,000. The challenge was to deploy a secure video surveillance network for the Guardia Urbana of Vic that could seamlessly integrate with the existing analog CCTV system. Vic deployed a distributed IP-based wireless video surveillance network using Alvarion's BreezeACCESS VL and BreezeNET B product lines.
