Amarillo Independent School District Improves Efficiency Across Its 53 Campuses

Amarillo Independent School District (AISD) wanted to improve operational efficiency to support a growing student body without increasing administrative staff and provide reliable access to easy-to-use applications for thousands of users spread across 70 square miles. The challenge was to comply with new and changing school reporting requirements. AISD upgraded to Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise Version 9.0, using new functionality to improve efficiency as well as leveraged PeopleTools to enhance applications with specific tools, such as modules for bus and travel requisitions.
