An Analysis of Thin Client Computing

This whitepaper looks at thin client computing based on Microsoft Windows 2000 terminal services. It examines what thin client computing is, its architecture, advantages and limitations. The paper also looks at a simple cost analysis of thin verses fat. While some of the benefits and cost savings are still relevant, the focus of the paper is on a true thin client environment using Windows based terminals, not fat or tubby clients connecting to Windows terminal services.
