An Effective Implementation of Multi-Path Routing Protocol in Wireless Mesh Networks
Source: International Journal of Advanced Research in Computer Science and Software Engineering (IJARCSSE)
This paper's contribution is a multi-path routing protocols that emphasize different aspects of multi-path routing. Multi-path protocols, which can provide larger bandwidth to the WMN. The network performance (end-to-end delay and packet loss ratio) compares favorably to the single-path DSR protocol, though as might be expected there is a trade-off against control packet overhead. In a WMN, the traffic load tends to be unevenly distributed over the network. The authors design a routing scheme which maximizes the utility, i.e., the degree of user satisfaction, by using the dual decomposition method. The goal of the metric is to choose a high-throughput path between a source and a destination.
