An Wi-Fi Delay Based Routing in Ad Hoc Networks

The mobile devices such as smart phones, tablet PCs can be connected to the Internet by a Wi-Fi AP (Access Point). The people also can communicate with each others using Wi-Fi P-to-P mode by constructing ad hoc networks without infrastructure. The P-to-P Wi-Fi speed can be variable depend on the selected propagation rate. Therefore, routing methods among nodes in the ad hoc networks give sensitive effect to the performance. The proposed methods are analyzed and compared with the delay performance. Therefore proposed method is especially good in high node density environment.
