Anahuac University Network Unifies Operations, Integrates Applications and Reduces IT Costs

The Anahuac University Network wanted to unify systems to achieve a single database capable of handling high volumes of information and integrate the network's eight national and international universities' academic and administrative systems. The challenge was to guarantee database dependability by restricting access to unauthorized personnel and provide professors and students with a rich suite of high availability tools and companion products and academic services on-line to facilitate academic processes. The University worked with Consultaria Informstica Lazarini S.C. to implement Oracle Database, consolidating the universities' systems into a robust database. It also worked with Sungard HE to deploy the university system's ERP applications on Oracle technology.
