Analysis of IP Network for Different Quality of Service
Source: International Association of Computer Science & Information Technology (IACSIT)
Quality of Service defines a set of criteria used to classify the level of service allotted to a consumer or application. These criteria include, but are not limited to, data rate, round trip delay, jitter and packet loss. Quality of Service is the ability to provide different priorities to different applications, users, or data flows, or to guarantee a certain level of performance to a data flow. For example, a required bit rate, delay, jitter, packet dropping probability and/or bit error rate may be guaranteed.
