Asian companies seek information on market changes and competitive moves
The economic downturn may be loosening its grip on Asia/Pacific economies. But with recovery comes fierce competition, as companies around the world rush to emerging markets to supplement delayed prospects for growth in developed markets. As competition heats up, companies that are able to make good decisions quickly and bring them to action are likely to have an edge on their peers. Our recent study among senior finance and IT executives in Asia/Pacific suggests that companies have been taking steps to ensure that they not only have access to the right information, but also have good decision-making processes in place in preparation for the emerging recovery.
