Austrian Construction Company Simplifies IT Management With Standardised Technology

PORR AG was using a range of technologies from different manufacturers that lacked compatibility and made it difficult to manage the company's IT infrastructure. A standardised solution from one supplier would simplify the management of its IT systems, and promote interoperability. PORR AG standardised its infrastructure with the deployment of 3,000 Dell desktops and notebooks, more than 50 Dell printers and the implementation of two Dell | EMC Storage Area Networks (SANs). The new infrastructure is supported by Dell's Gold Enterprise support, simplifying support issues for remote employees.
