Automating Cloud Services: Using Petri Net Modeling Techniques for Quick Deployment and Simplified Maintenance

The advent of cloud computing services has given IT organizations more options in how they can provide services to their customers. Cloud vendor services, such as Amazon Web Services, can offer benefits such as lower costs and shorter deployment times. Unlimited cloud compute resources can be used to add capacity to application processing workload "On-Demand". Off-site cloud storage offers "Unlimited Capacity" data backup options to on-site storage. This paper describes Tap in System's approach for effectively integrating these cloud services into enterprise IT processes and policies.
