Source: NetApp
As open source databases continue to grow and mature and with the continuing shift to control corporate spending, more and more corporations are turning to open source databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL as viable alternatives for some applications instead of using commercial databases such as Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server. This paper serves as a guide to get a PostgreSQL database up and running on NetApp. This paper assumes a basic knowledge of both NetApp and PostgreSQL and the underlying systems.
