Bank Austria: Banking Post-Merger Integration

Bank Austria is the result of the 1991 merger between Zentralsparkasse Wien (Vienna) and Österreichische Länderbank. Five years later the union was followed by the acquisition of Creditanstalt. That purchase of Austria's second largest bank propelled the combined bank to the 34th rank in the European league table. Bank Austria turns to Accenture for post-merger integration work after their merger with Creditanstalt.
