Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Use IT Project Reporting to Ensure Initiatives Stay on Track

The Bank sought to provide a foundation for the controlled delivery of IT projects as well as existing and future bank initiatives. Senior management was seeking accurate data/metrics to support more informed decisions on project selection and prioritization. With the help of IBM Global Business Services, the Bank of N.T. Butterfield deployed IBM Rational Portfolio Manager software to manage its entire portfolio of IT projects. Currently, the Bank uses the Rational solution to track approximately 100 projects. Senior managers use the Rational application to review resource data, track projects and generate reports.
