Baring Asset Management Simplifies and Speeds Content Management Across Its Global Organization

Baring Asset Management wanted to establish a global platform across 11 international offices in nine countries to provide a single, integrated search facility and speed and simplify searching for files currently found on the company intranet in public and shared folders. The challenge was to reduce reliance on public folders for content storage and centralize policies and procedures and ensure greater ownership and governance over content. Baring Asset Management worked with Oracle Partner Filpax for the proof of concept and Ether Solutions to implement Oracle Universal Content Management and Oracle Secure Enterprise Search to provide a single solution to search all content repositories.
