BNZ CIB division is the corporate institutional banking area of the bank of New Zealand, which is one of New Zealand's leading financial services providers. BNZ CIB lacked a single consolidated storage system that would be flexible enough to operate across its three New Zealand sites, integrate with the BNZ head office, and link globally with nabCapital. BNZ engaged Infinity Solutions (now Fujitsu), a NetApp Platinum Partner, to implement and provide support for a new network storage solution. The upgrade from NetApp F87 devices provided the ability to run CIFS and NFS in one single box. SnapRestore and SnapMirror software were also implemented with the F87 devices.
