Breakthrough: Humberside Police Improves Intelligence to Enhance Public Services

The men and women of the Humberside Police Force dedicate themselves each day to reducing crime and antisocial behaviour, protecting communities and providing a visible neighbourhood presence that promotes public confidence. The force wanted to better protect the public through improved data management and smarter decisions. Humberside Police chose Unisys to develop a crime and intelligence solution to centralise and streamline the way critical information is stored, managed and accessed. Unisys and Humberside Police co-developed Crime and Intelligence System Release 4 (CIS4) around the concept of producing a cutting-edge intelligence system designed to meet the evolving needs of a modern police force.
