BT Group Plc Provides Secure and Consistent System Access for 150,000 Third-Party Users
Source: Oracle
BT Group Plc wanted to provide secure access to business-critical systems and applications for 150,000 third-party users from companies to whom BT outsources a large number of core processes and strengthen and simplify internal governance and regulatory compliance processes required for BT to trade globally. The challenge was to enforce consistent access processes, minimize set-up time, and eliminate the risks of shared identities and forgotten passwords and enhance integrity by initiating frequent self-service password changes and automatically disabling user access at contract end. BT Group Plc replaced multiple, disparate, often manual control provisioning processes with a single, automated, centrally managed solution based on Oracle Identity Management.
