Building Borderless Networks

Cali Eye Clinic was the first healthcare provider in Colombia to offer outpatient surgery for glaucoma as an alternative to hospitalization. Equipped with the most modern refractive surgery and 20 consultancy rooms, the new site would provide staff with greater mobility and access to medical applications and information, while also promoting safer procedures through the facilitation of research and best practice sharing. To help accelerate growth, Cali Eye Clinic chose a validated Cisco Borderless Network design. The company has also taken advantage of the award-winning Cisco SMARTnet maintenance service. Removal of previously isolated areas of information has helped to increase productivity.
