Business Continuity Planning White Paper

The purpose of this paper is to highlight the importance of data backup and data access in the event of a disaster that can have catastrophic affect on the business whilst also covering the wider aspects of a thorough Business Continuity Plan. Unscheduled or unplanned events can have a dramatic or even catastrophic effect on any businesses large or small. A crisis such as fire, theft or IT system failure could all make it difficult or even impossible to carry out the normal day-to-day activities. Many businesses are now implementing business continuity plans for other more indirect scenarios such as a terrorist threat or a natural disaster.
