In this research paper, the authors have explained and presented the results of a novel database recovery method. Taking into account that most data servers today are becoming increasingly autonomic and business process oriented, there is a need to develop a new model where it is possible to do a database recovery based on the occurrence of a business process rather than non intuitive data like time, log file name/location or system change number. The advantage of this recovery model is that the user will no longer be required to remember non intuitive data like time-stamp up to which the data has to be restored, log file name/location or system change number.
