Ad hoc networks are the network that having no infrastructure or base station. A node communicates directly to the others with its transmission range. The essential requirement in ad hoc network is the security. The well-known attack is the black hole that having a malicious node advertised itself as a shortest path. This will decrease a throughput of network. In this paper, Credit based on Ad hoc On-demand Distance Vector (CAODV) routing protocol is proposed to detect and eliminate the blackhole attack.
