Co-operative Bulk Handling Limited (CBH) is owned and controlled by the grain growers of Western Australia. CBH receives, handles, stores and out-loads up to 12 million tonnes of grain per year, 40% of Australia's total production, at 196 receivable points throughout the grain belt of Western Australia. The LANSA Web application integrates with CBH's core Synon application and was developed and implemented in just five weeks by LANSA business partner Lateral. At CBH, the research work is estimated by putting on the spreadsheets i.e. by analysis sheets with the help of forms. That is done by collating information with independent forms and query cards from the sources. Different set of forms reflect different products, especially, designed to check the output and input from more than 10,000 farmers. CBH uses a technology called as "LANSA Web Application" to restore the collected information yearly with harvesting estimates direct on web platforms for maintaining accuracy of accounts and figures. It represents a significant milestone in the development and execution of CBH's eBusiness strategy.
