Cloud Computing: Impacting Our World

Cloud computing is distributed computer processing over a large network. The Internet is the largest cloud, and it is often drawn on network diagrams as a cloud. Cloud computing impacts the world by allowing people to access large volumes of data quicker, and impacts both the environment and human interaction. There are three major forms of cloud computing in use today, utility computing, Platform as a Service (PaaS), and cloud-based applications.
