CMC Case Study: Universal Sompo General Insurance Company Limited

Universal Sompo General Insurance Co. Ltd. (USGI) is a Public-Private Partnership Joint Venture between Allahabad Bank, Sompo Japan Insurance Inc., Dabur Investments, Karnataka Bank and Indian Overseas Bank. USGI being a relatively new entrant in the insurance market in India, it was a critical challenge for USGI to compete with established players for positioning its product and services in the market. After an extensive review of the existing Products, USGI chose CMC for the total solution of its insurance business. GENISYS Configurator, one of the products developed by CMC was made available to USGI. GENISYS Configurator is a suite of components that addresses the needs of a comprehensive insurance system. Configurator is available as a product, with its entire suite of components.
