Service providers are becoming increasingly aware of the strength and necessity of robust in-home networks. When such value-added services as e-health, security, home monitoring and social networking are deployed in today's homes, they offer increased ARPU, reduction in churn and higher levels of customer satisfaction for the operator. Content-consuming devices, such as TVs, Blu-ray players, PCs, gaming consoles and set-top boxes, are making their way into every corner of the home, as are such mobile devices as the omnipresent smart phone and the new iPad.
