Common FTP Server Problems and How They Are Addressed When Using the StingRay File Transfer Server
FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is a standard protocol used to transfer data over networks such as the Internet, or simply between two computers within the same local network (Local Area Network). More to the point, does it offer businesses the value added features so desperately needed in todays busy corporate environments? This paper discusses the limitations of traditional FTP and highlight how Hermstedt's StingRay FTP functionality has been enhanced to meet the requirements of modern business, where FTP is the preferred delivery protocol.
