CommVault Customer Survey: Data Validation and User ROI

CommVault's customers participated in an online survey in March 2008. The survey documented their ROI across infrastructure, software, and services spending; backup reliability; administrative time; and backup and restore performance. EMA and statistician Dr. MaryAnne Winniford validated the survey data and confirmed that the survey's findings were statistically valid. CommVault's customers consistently reported gains in reliability and performance, as well as compelling time and costs savings. They showed a 19% increase in backup reliability over displaced competitive products, a 40% reduction in backup administration time, and a 77% reduction in file and message restore time. With findings such as these, EMA recommends that organizations in the market for data protection and data management solutions include CommVault in their evaluations.
