Compared to the Previous Solution, Modular Blade Servers Help Reduce Floor Space by 70 Percent and Power Consumption by 45 Percent

Facing an expanding data center, YCH looked towards new technologies to streamline its IT environment. Following the release of cutting-edge blade servers, the company investigated how the new hardware platform could reduce its eco footprint and provide a scalable and flexible solution. To streamline its IT infrastructure, YCH migrated much of its environment onto a standardized platform of Dell PowerEdge M1000e blade server chassis containing Dell PowerEdge M600 blade servers. The blade system also connects to Dell/EMC CX3-20 storage system to deliver a consolidated, unified storage foundation.
