Connecting 21st Century Classrooms

Calcasieu Parish schools wanted to incorporate innovative education technologies into their curriculum and provide affordable netbook technology and broadband access to their students without having to re-engineer their classrooms. The district purchased 1,300 Dell Latitude 2100 netbook computers with Intel Atom processors. Standardization on Dell enables staff of 6 to manage 20,000 computers.
