CONSOL Energy, Inc. produces high-bituminous coal and coal-mine methane gas. The challenge was to reduce data storage costs, simplify storage management, and minimize time and costs associated with SAP upgrade. CONSOL Energy installed a NetApp IP SAN system to store and manage its Windows File Services, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Databases, and Microsoft Exchange Server applications for the company's 3,000 users.
