Cool Vendors in IT Support, 2008

In this research note, Gartner analyzes three "cool" vendors for PC support and configuration management. According to the research firm, management is the most important factor in lowering client total cost of ownership (TCO), and organizations that have failed with automation in the past should consider addressing IT support issues with appliances, software as a service (SaaS), and add-on tools to large vendor products.
