Creating Dynamic Series Charts Using Base SAS, SAS/GRAPH, and the Annotate Facility

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) provides occupational health surveillance information through the systematic collection, analysis, and dissemination of this information via publications and the Internet. NIOSH is currently developing a content management system to automate the production of charts and tables for the NIOSH Worker Health Chartbook web site using Base SAS, SAS/GRAPH, and MS SQL Server. This web site contains over 10,000 charts, updated annually, with approximately 5,000 charts per series. Series charts are sets of charts with each graph illustrating a group of data from an input data set. They are beneficial to graphically explore data in detail.
