Cultivating 21st-Century Learners Through an e-Classroom in K-12th School

Before discussing the challenges facing 21st-century learners in the current education system, the e-classroom needs to be defined. Electronic classroom have various definitions. Electronic classroom include any information and technology used to support learning in the classroom. Workspace.com defines electronic classroom as an interactive learning environment where computers and other electronic devices are the primary information delivery systems. Many also define electronic classroom as synchronous or asynchronous classroom in a traditional classroom setting where instruction is based on computer. And "A course of instruction part of electronic classroom involves with the idea that computer support learning environment as a collaborative learning in a setting marked by competition as much as cooperations."
