Dah Chang Securities Saves US$469,000 (NT 15 Million) Annually in Logistics Costs

Dah Chang Securities wanted to replace a legacy COBOL system that did not offer the reliable performance needed to manage large numbers of trades and import over 100,000 pieces of data into a centralized repository to assist in managing high-risk customers. The challenge was to introduce self-service environment to reduce IT workload and install a centralized risk management system to protect the integrity of financial data. Dah Chang Securities engaged Oracle Partner Tera-Asper to implement an online trading system developed using Oracle Database, Oracle Real Application Clusters, and Oracle Database management tools and engaged Oracle Certified Advantage Partner Sysage Technology to implement the Oracle Database infrastructure.
