Data Link Control in Data Communication

DLC is the service provided by the Data Link layer of function defined in the Open Systems Interconnection OSI model for network communication. The Data Link layer is responsible for providing reliable data transfer across one physical link (or telecommunications path) within the network. Technical communication systems are developed to transmit messages from a sender to a receiver beside the task of sending and receiving information over a channel, there are many other tasks a communication system has to do. One important task is to guarantee the correctness of the received information. No existing channel is completely error-free. In order to receive correct information, redundancy is often sent.
