Delivering Virtualization Benefits by Refreshing Client PCs

Intel IT is exploring new usage and business models based on client virtualization. These new models could potentially deliver significant benefits to Intel IT and to users. By providing the client IT environment as a managed Virtual Machine (VM), the authors could reduce TCO by stream lining PC builds, improve manageability, and deliver new capabilities to users more quickly. This approach could also give users much more flexibility, including the ability to run personal applications without risk to the virtualized IT environment.
