Dell Case Study: Hoover City Schools

Hoover City Schools wanted to update its 6,500 Dell client systems - a mix of OptiPlex 755 and OptiPlex 760 desktops, Latitude 2100 netbooks, and Latitude XT mobile tablet devices - to the latest Microsoft OS. But the district needed to be sure that the applications it depended on would work in the new environment, and that learning would be enhanced by the migration, not disrupted. With help from the Dell ProConsult team, the district was able to quickly roll out Windows 7 across its fleet of client systems.
