Dell PowerVault NX1950 Storage for the Small-to-Medium Business

Combining the capabilities of SAN and NAS, the Dell PowerVault NX1950 Integrated NAS Solution provides both block application data through iSCSI and file data through the CIFS and NFS standards. The NX1950 is available with up to 45 SAS drives and can be configured as a High Availability solution with clustered management servers, delivering storage consolidation for small-to-medium businesses. To demonstrate this, a simulation was performed in which the key data requirements of a 1000-employee company - email, database and file serving - were provided by a PowerVault NX1950 over an 8-hour test.
