Department of Public Instruction: Strategic Information Technology Plan

This plan articulates a vision for IT, key strategic directions and specific projects. It continues to use a framework of four architectures, technology, applications, data, and organization, although the agency recognizes the interconnection of the architectures. Information security and privacy is of prime concern in the business program units. No security architecture independently exists because these topics are integrated within the other four architectures. The plan was developed in-house under the leadership of the Chief Information Officer.
