Design of Accurate End-to-End IPv4 and IPv6 Performance Test

The Internet is growing every day and Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) is going to deplete soon. It is important to know the current status of network performance before migrating or expanding the network. Network simulation is one of the popular solutions which can be use to predict expanded network performance result. This paper highlights baseline performance test that can be evaluate before the simulation process take place. This test is important because it can help researcher to understand further detail about component or configuration which can influence the actual IPv4 and IPv6 network performance thus leads to more detail simulation process and accurate simulation result.
