Design of Service Discovery Scheme Based on Connection Degree in Mobile Ad-Hoc Network Environments

The proliferation of mobile devices and the pervasiveness of wireless technology have provided a major impetus to replicate the network-based service discovery technologies in wireless and mobile networks. However, existing service discovery protocols mainly support one-hop ad-hoc network. This paper proposes the service discovery protocol based on the connection degree information of the nodes in the mobile ad-hoc networks. Its proposed protocol is based on the concept of peer-to-peer caching of service advertisements. Each node manages the basic information.
