The customer is a leading provider of travel and tour services from a single source. It offers ticketing services, flights as well as accommodation in its own hotels and customer-care by its own tour guides. The customer owned high volume websites, which needed to be fully compliant with the PCI DSS by the end of 2008. Failure of the customer's websites to comply with PCI DSS could result in large financial penalties and damage to business. The payment process was common across the customer's 70+ applications.
