Development of Decision Support System for Risk Evaluation of Transportation of Dangerous Goods Using Mobile Technologies

Analysis of the risks caused by the transportation of hazardous materials presents a very different risk than a fixed facility. Sustainability of surroundings depends from a safe transportation, especially of the safe auto-transportation of dangerous goods. The aims of the research concern the methods to support decisions by evaluating transportation processes of dangerous goods. Mobile technologies provide a potentially convenient and truly ubiquitous platform for the detection of object context such as the location, as well as the delivery of reminders. A location-based reminder application runs on mobile phones. Reminders can be more helpful when rich contextual information that is used to present them at appropriate time moments and in appropriate places.
