DeviceLock: Standing Out in a Competitive Marketplace
As protecting information assets become a major priority for private and public sector organisations the endpoint security market is getting increasingly crowded. The company needed to distinguish the DeviceLock software from the crowd, and work with their European partners to make sure messages were consistent in all countries. But they also needed to create a campaign that would work locally, sparking interest in DeviceLock among UK journalists in order to create the right conditions for driving sales through its UK channel partners. Instead of sending out a standard news release to the channel publications, Aspectus conducted a straw poll among the security specialists attending the show which highlighted the risk of the personal mobile devices they were carrying.
