Discovery World Uses ProCurve Network to Showcase Technical Innovation, Possibilities

With hundreds of exhibits, an HD television studio, several labs, two HD theatres, public WiFi, corporate rental spaces, point-of-sale systems and office operations, Discovery World has just about every networking requirement imaginable. The interactive center for innovation and learning established a state-of-the-art IT infrastructure using a variety of HP ProCurve Networking products. In addition to providing rock solid Gigabit connectivity for all of its operations, Discovery World has implemented Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), two-way video conferencing and streaming HD media. It even connects to a three-mast schooner that sails 18,000 nautical miles each year to facilitate experiential teaching and learning in the Great Lakes and the Caribbean.
